Trauma Recovery Stories Live Premiere

On April 9, 2026, at The Lapis Theatre at Hugo House, the live premiere of Trauma Recovery Stories: Seattle was held.

The film follows three Seattle residents who have overcome different types of trauma and whose stories intersect in the arts, specifically poetry and music. Donna Leigh is a pioneer in the LGBTQ+ community. Iz White is an enrolled member of the Snoqualmie Tribe who grew up in the aftermath of tragedy. Fantasy A is an artist whose relentless drive has pushed him beyond limits others once placed on him because of his autism diagnosis.

The screening was followed by live performances from Fantasy A, Donna, and Iz.

This film is for anyone who has felt alone in what they went through.

The full release of the documentary is TBD.
